The Court held that students who have attained the age of majority have the constitutional right to enter a sexual relationship with people, other adults. Nevertheless,President of the Court acknowledged Jim Hannah that such behavior of the teachersdeserve condemnation and denunciation.
One of the judges, opposed this decision, which enjoyed an overwhelming majority inthe Court, noting that it will reflect negatively on the situation in the field of education. Thelawyers insisted that the law protects students from harassment of teachers.
It is not known will it be to challenge the decision or not.
The court had addressed the issue of David Pascal (38 years), a psychology teacher in one of the state institutes linked to one of his students a sexual relationship, aged 18 years. The teacher was arrested in 2010, and sentenced to 30 years, according to theagency "Reuters".
