Geologists detected in the troubled Russian region of Chechnya what they think isfossilized dinosaur eggs and put the huge extinct reptiles that used to roam the earth by more than 60 million years.
Said Secretary Ghebrelov a geologist at the University of Chechnya, "We found about 40 eggs so far have not determined the exact number .. there can be a lot more underthe ground." It was revealed this discovery when a construction crew to blow up theslope to build a road near the border area in ex-Soviet Georgia in the Caucasus mountains.
Ghebrelov said that a team of experienced geologists oval shapes that resemblesmooth rocks, which range in size from 25 centimeters to one meter during a trip to the region in recent times. He added that there is a need for paleontologists to determine which type of dinosaur set. The Ghebrelov that the Government of Chechnya, is considering turning the area into a nature reserve to attract tourists.
