The U.S. military acknowledged the possibility of the involvement of five members of theSecret Service charged with protecting the U.S. President in sex scandals in Colombia.He announced that he is being investigated now.
But the White House confirmed that President Barack Obama has full confidence in the Secret Service.
Earlier reports had said that the five elements exercised "sexual scandals" in the course of the accompaniment for Obama on his visit to Colombia, to participate in the summit of leaders of American States.
Said Edwin Donovan, spokesman for the device in a statement that the Secret Servicecalled in a number of its personnel from Colombia because of alleged misconduct.
The statement added that there are allegations against members of the Secret Servicein Cartagena, Colombia of committing bad behavior by the president's visit.
He pointed out that "because of it being exempt these individuals from their duties andsent back to the place of service, being alterations to other members of the Secret Service."
Donovan said that "the change of these individuals will not affect the overall security planprepared in advance for the visit of the President."
The Washington Post has said that 12 people were summoned, and one of them at least accused of contact with prostitutes.
