Antarctic depths reveal secrets hidden from the earth (Reuters)
British scientists hope to discover the secrets of the earth in the expedition undertaken by them in an ancient lake in the Antarctic.
Mr. Martin will lead the Seggart team of scientists who will come to the South Pole next week, hoping to be the first explorers of the continent's hidden lakes, 387 lake.
The Daily Telegraph to Lake Ellsworth may contain bacteria and microbes and other primary forms of life, experts believe it has been hidden at a depth of kilometers away from the rest of the ground to about a million years.
Could detect water and sediment samples will be collected from the lake for undiscovered forms of life existed on Earth before the lake freezes, and it was the former climate of the planet.
It is expected to support the sediment collected from the bottom of the lake theory that the western ice sheet of Antarctica - which is shrinking because of rising global temperatures - has melted and collapsed in the past.
The professor from the University of Edinburgh Seggart they were planning 15 years ago to explore this secret world. And now only has to have the experience and technology to drill through the slab thicker ice in Antarctica and collect samples without contaminating the environment pristine and ancient.
