The Organization of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday that at least 94 children have died this year in Yemen, because of the fire during the clashes between demonstrators and government forces.
The organization said in a statement that 240 children were injured by gunfire or artillery shelling since the outbreak of unrest in the country earlier this year.
The statement added, "There are reports confirmed by our partners that the at least two children were killed this week. In on 2 October / November of this, killed a seven-year-old died of shrapnel in the capital, Sana'a, on 4 October / November of this, was a boy13-year-old died in the same way. "
And UNICEF in a statement condemned the victimization of children for mutual fire in Yemen, and urged all parties to the conflict to do their utmost to protect civilians, especially women and children.
The UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake that the unrest in Yemen left having a severe impact on children, noting that most of them need a long-term care.
He added that children in Yemen were already suffering from malnutrition and poverty before the outbreak of popular unrest, it is out of 3.6 million children under five in the country, suffers at least 43% of them are underweight and 58% of stunting.
