Retrial of Egyptian blogger



Accepted by the Supreme Court of Military Appeals in Egypt on Tuesday to seek a retrialblogger jailed was convicted on charges of insulting and defaming the armed forces in the case caused an outcry by rights groups around the world.

And began to support blogger Michael Nabil, 25, went on hunger strike on August 23 /August in protest against the condemnation of the published comments in which he saysthat the army tried to help in suppressing the uprising toppled former President HosniMubarak on February 11, 2011.

And informed the family of Nabil Amnesty International last week that his health haddeteriorated and that the authorities prevented him from taking drugs, and said he was suffering from urinary tract problems and anemia and scabies.

The Supreme Court of Military Appeals said that under the decision overturned the previous sentence against Nabil to be retried before another circle within days.

He spent Nabil who was arrested at his home in Cairo in March / March, five months in prison three years that the rule of it.
