CairoIn the Egyptian capital, said an official at the Syrian Embassy and a witness to a crowd of Syrians stormed the embassy and broke the furniture and equipment and set fire to parts of the building in protest against the events in Syria.
As hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside a police station a few streets away from the embassy to demand the release of six Syrians said they were arrested during the protest outside the headquarters of the mission.
This incident is the second such attack on the headquarters of the Syrian mission, where previously that the protesters broke into the embassy building last week to protest against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
