U.S. military chief: Al-Qaeda was involved in the events of Syria and intervention is very difficult

Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff U.S. intervention in Syria would be "very difficult", stressing that it is premature to arm the opposition inside Syria because of the lack of clarity of identity.In an interview with CNN, Dempsey noted that "it is premature to take a decision to arm the opposition movement in Syria because I defy anyone to me defines the opposition movement in Syria at the present stage.""There are indications that al Qaeda post (in what is happening in Syria) and are interested in supporting the opposition.
