Scientists warned of the impact of rising emissions on the global climate in the long run, arguing it would lead to delay recurrence of the Ice Age to the unknown.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that the study prepared by American andBritish scientists and published in the Norwegian Journal of Geology cyclical nature,warned that rising carbon dioxide will lead to delay recurrence of the Ice Age to the orderis not known.
Previous research indicated that the next ice age is expected to start after 15 centuries.But due to global warming caused by rising greenhouse gas emissions would be late forthat.
The new study showed that even if emissions stopped now, the current levels of carbon dioxide in the air too high to delay the next ice age.
