Julien’s online auction house has launched the sale of over 100 never-before-seen photographs of Marilyn Monroe.
The photographs hit the auction sale along with the accompanying copyrights. The auction will start later this month.
Images of the young Marilyn were divided into groups and sold separately. The starting price was set at $300.
The photos come from Monroe's personal makeup artist Allan Snyder. One image shows Snyder putting makeup on a lingerie-clad Monroe while on the set of "Let's Make Love" in 1960. The sale will also offer letters and telegrams between Monroe and Snyder.
The sale of the Monroe photographs will come as a part of a Hollywood Legends block, which will feature over 800 items of Hollywood memorabilia.
Among the highlights will be Charlie Chaplin’s iconic bowler hat, cane and worn suit, Clark Gable's riding jacket from "Gone with the Wind”, and a vintage Christian Dior gown worn by Grace Kelly.
The Hollywood Legends sale will be held from March to April 1.
