Study: Circumcision is linked to reduced risk of prostate cancer

U.S. study concluded that male circumcision may reduce their risk of prostate cancer at a later stage of life.
The World Health Organization recommends male circumcision already - a move that is controversial - based on research showing that reduces the risk of transmission of HIV (virus. No. In) the virus that causes immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) to the men during sexual intercourse with females.
The scientists also said that last year the wives and mistresses are circumcised men have lower rates of infection papilloma virus (virus. Me. In), which may in rare cases leads to cervical cancer and other types of cancer.
Said Jonathan Wright at the Center for Research Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research in Seattle, who led the study, said the new study, published in the journal Cancer consistent with those results, but does not reach the level of proof that circumcision will decrease the child's risk of cancer in the future.
Wright said "I will not go out and I call for male circumcision on a large scale to prevent prostate cancer ... we have seen a link but does not prove a causal relationship."
In spite of that most American men circumcised, the circumcision has become less common over the past decade. In September, the Assembly tried to prevent the Royal Dutch Medical male circumcision as a "harmful and painful."
And compare Wright and colleagues compared the two groups together more than 1600 men in the study answered questions about their medical history and their sexuality and if they had had their circumcision. And half with prostate cancer and the other half is not infected.
In the infected group was 69 percent of circumcised men compared with 72 percent among members of the group is infected with cancer, suggesting a protective effect is small.
The injured man in every six American men with prostate cancer during his lifetime despite the fact that a minority of them die with the disease.
