British newspapers focused on addressing the situation in North Korea after the death of its leader Kim Jong Il, who assumed the presidency in 1994, succeeding his father, Kim Il Sung, founder of North Korea.
The Independent newspaper published an article of the writer Jonathan Venbe which he said that China is working to avoid the emergence of a unified Korean peninsula and an ally of the United States.
The author said that China is concerned about the deterioration of things in North Korea as a result of family conflicts in the Kim dynasty. China and fears of uncontrollable situation in its neighbor and ally, because that would lead to an avalanche flow of North Korean refugees into its territory.
Told the Financial Times, meanwhile, said in an editorial that Kim's death must be seen as a turning point.
