Egypt: put out the blaze, which broke out in the line of Egyptian gas to Israel after

Egyptian authorities said they were able to extinguish the blaze, which broke out in a gas pipeline in the Sinai peninsula yesterday.The gunmen blew up part of the line for the thirteenth time.The attack came days after the repair line and the gas back to Jordan, Israel and the town of El Arish.And Rear Admiral Medhat Saleh, President of the City Council of El Arish losses in lives.WitnessesWitnesses said that unidentified men blew up a gas pipeline that extends from Egypt to Israel, Jordan and the thirteenth time since the departure of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak over a year ago.The bombing occurred in an area Almsaid Sinai Peninsula, west of the coastal town of El Arish in North Sinai.Eyewitnesses said that six armed men at least, was riding in two pickup trucks, planted the explosives before the explosion, pointing out that insurgents used a remote bomb device.Did not adopt any point of responsibility for the bombing.The company, which manages the project gas production had announced to resume pumping gas to homes and factories in El-Arish and began to experience pumping gas to Israel and Jordan last week.Egypt signed an agreement during the reign of Mubarak to deliver natural gas to Israel for twenty years, in a move that met with popular rejection and criticism of the agreement because it gave preferential rates to Israel, says Egyptian activists.The Egyptian authorities announced in the month of November last that it would tighten security measures in the region, which witnessed 12 bombing of the former gas supplies and promised to run security patrols of the Bedouin tribes in the region.The explosions resulted in a precedent in the natural gas line to stop supplies Israel and Jordan for up to weeks.
