The Secretary-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano,on Wednesday he expected the creation of 350 new nuclear reactors in the world as well as the 130 reactors currently in place.
The official said the international press conference in the Kazakh capital of Astana where he participates in the forum "a world free of nuclear weapons" that some of the countriesreviewed its nuclear policy after the incident, Fukushima, Japan.
He explained that this does not mean that others should give up on the establishment ofnuclear power stations.
He said in his remarks carried by news agency Alkzakhih "according to our expectations,the number of nuclear reactors will rise to 350 add to 130 exist in the present time. This means that many countries will continue to use nuclear energy."
The Amano, who took over the Secretariat almost two years ago, he said after his electionthat he would do his utmost to prevent nuclear proliferation, alluding to the bombing of his country in the Hiroshima and Nagzaki during World War II, saying that a citizen came fromJapan will make efforts and wide to reduce nuclear arms.
