Fire on protesters to burn copies of the Koran in Kabul and injuries

Reuters witnesses said that shots were fired at protesters in Kabul on Wednesday, wounding a number of them in fierce clashes for a second day to protest the burning ofcopies of the Koran at an air base belonging to NATO in Afghanistan.

The protesters broke through police lines and smashed cars.
