Mali (Reuters) - The Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed announced his resignation on Tuesday after three weeks of protests led by the opposition, which turned into a rebellion from the police and were charged after a man who attributed to him the credit for bringing democracy to the country that turned into a dictator like his predecessor.
