Fined priest in the parish of Venice in Italy after being charged with disturbing the rest ofthat church bells ringing loudly.
According to agency ANSA that the Italian Father Reynaldo Gaussot of the Church ofSan Pietro Orcillolo, was convicted of causing the "acoustic pollution" during the last 4years as a result bells may sound very high.
She noted that this issue could set a precedent, pointing out that in 1997 the Italiangovernment passed a law that defines the degree of increase in sound of bells that are not supposed to overcome.
But the priest said he is committed to the laws, and stressed that he was opposed to pay the fine in any case.
